Overview
Every company hopes employees will read HR policies and use existing documentation. In reality, most people still walk straight to HR for answers about leave, goals, benefits, and internal programs.
This project was designed to fix that. Built for a large enterprise with thousands of employees, the AI chatbot turns scattered HR files, policy PPTs, and inconsistent data into one simple conversational interface. Employees get clarity instantly. HR teams finally stop answering the same questions 200 times a month.
This system doesn’t behave like a basic FAQ bot. It thinks, retrieves, summarizes, and explains policies the way an HR manager would, but without the delays.

The Challenge
Mediator Dependency
Even simple HR questions required direct HR involvement, creating constant interruptions and preventing the team from focusing on higher-value, strategic work.

What Kreeda Labs Builts
Kreeda Labs developed a Generative AI–powered HR chatbot that acts as a virtual HR partner for employees and a controlled tool for HR teams.
Dual-role system
The chatbot identifies whether the user is an employee or HR administrator and adjusts its capabilities accordingly.
Policy ingestion with RAG
We ingested full policy PPTs and HR documents. Using RAG, the system searches, interprets, and summarizes policies on demand, turning static files into an interactive knowledge base.

Sensitive PII is masked and protected throughout the pipeline, meeting MNC-level compliance standards.

Employees receive support anytime, without depending on HR working hours or bandwidth.
Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
Employees: Can view only their personal data and general policies.
HR Staff: Tiered access depending on department, ensuring internal data governance.
